Little red riding hood

My giant project for the second term, designing and making a chair with the theme fairy tales behaving badly (I chose little red riding hood). We got this little Ikea dining chair which we had to turn into something considerably better looking..... kinda threw that idea out the window since the seat was pretty much all I used. I had no idea how difficult it would be making those splayed legs, it was a nightmare to cut and and attach together without the whole thing falling apart when you sat on it (plus I had pretty much zero woodworking skills).

The teeth are made of polystyrene wrapped in chickenwire wrapped in plaster bandages covered with sanded polyfiller painted with acrylics coated in varnish (I love varnish).

Fabric is this silky stuff called peach koshiba, burnt around the edges.

It's going to be in a competition in september, judged by some Ikea people apparrently. I hope they aren't too fat, it's quite narrow to sit in
